JT Schmitt
JT Schmitt (he/him) Guide
JT grew up in western Colorado, but has called southwestern Montana home since 2010. He now lives in Emigrant, MT where he enjoys climbing and skiing in the surrounding mountains. JT has worked as a professional mountain guide since 2016 and since then has guided in many locations around the western hemisphere, including mountains in Mexico, Peru and various places in Washington State including Mt. Rainier, Mt. Shuksan, Mt. Baker and then a yearly trip to Alaska to work on Denali, and of course, the Beartooth Mountains. These days JT likes to stay closer to home to work in his favorite mountain range, the Beartooths and work as a ski patroller at Bridger Bowl in the winters. When not climbing JT enjoys hunting, biking and playing music.
