Red Lodge, MT

On the Northern front of the Beartooths, Red Lodge is home to a few fun and local mid-winter tours. Conditions can vary, but ease of the access to town is hard to beat. Come spring, most of our ski-mountaineering objectives depart from Northern trailheads.

Cooke City, MT

Cooke City is the epicenter of Montana backcountry skiing & riding. Hidden at the end of the road near Yellowstone, this old mining town proudly boasts historically high snowfall for the region. Cooke City is difficult to access, but well worth the visit for good conditions throughout winter.
